A small, modular powerhouse

A little speaker that makes a very big impression. A power connection and Wi-Fi access are enough for this little guy to fill even medium size rooms with rich, high-definition sound. A free app allows you to access music from your own private collection as well as streaming services and Internet radio. Alternately, 4 preset buttons allow you to get your favourite streams of music started right away. A volume regulator and on/off switch are also included for directly controlling the system.

The little One S works with a wide range of streaming services as well as your own music collection stored on USB or DLNA enabled devices. You can also send music stored on your smartphone or tablet directly, wirelessly, and losslessly to the One S.

The little One S is jam-packed with high-end acoustic and streaming hardware including:

• A 2-way coaxial system consisting of a 100 mm midbass driver with forward placed 20 mm tweeter. Not only does this arrangement allow more drivers to be placed in a smaller space, it approximates a point source for an acoustically superior result. The same system used in our Stereo Cubes has garnered the system wide-spread praise for its powerful, clear and detailed sound.
• A long throw 100 mm midrange driver allows the One S to produce amazingly deep, rich and responsive bass.
• Side-mounted 80 mm passive radiators give the system an incredible 45 Hz low end.
• A digital signal processor using a sophisticated equalizer to eliminate any resonances or gaps in the bass range for a nearly perfectly linear frequency response and true-to-source playback. Equalizer presets adjust the sound for the kitchen, bathroom and living room for an optimal sound.

Thanks to a low noise 50 watt class D amplifier, the One S produces incredibly high, distortion-free levels in even larger rooms.

If the One S is combined with other Raumfeld devices, the entire multi-room system can be centrally controlled with the Raumfeld App as well.

Built to last

An aluminium cover adorns the front of the One S. The control buttons are made from pleasantly soft silicone that are perfect for use in a messy environment like the kitchen as it's easy to wipe off a bit of Nutella or jam. Robust fabric covers protect the drivers and rubber rings on the bottom guarantee secure placement.

The One S can be easily wall mounted

Integrated keyhole brackets make it easy to mount the system on a wall. Flexible wall mounts are also available as additional accessories.

Setting up the system is easy and no other devices are needed to make i t work other than a Wi-Fi router and smartphone/tablet.

Together with your router, the Raumfeld Expand creates the perfect WiFi streaming environment

After an easy installation process, the Expand automatically connects directly to your WiFi router and communicates the signal without drops or interruptions to each Raumfeld device in your network. The little organizational wonder can also host media storage devices via its USB port, making it possible to stream titles from your digital library. The system's memory can index up to 200,000 titles for anytime access via the Raumfeld Controller App.

Home WiFi signals can be brought to the breaking point by many competing devices, the transmission of larger files or thick walls. Lossless audio tracks can place a large burden on home WiFi systems which often host a range of other devices from smartphones and tablets to game consoles. To facilitate the best multi-room experience with top quality digital music files, the Raumfeld Expand create a dedicated WiFi network for your music. The system can manage an incredible 200,000 tracks for instant access to your favourites, playlists and other personal settings across a huge range of music via the Raumfeld App.

Autonomous, not exclusive

In addition, the Expand is equipped with a USB port to which even large external hard drives can be directly attached. NAS and DLNA/UPnP media servers containing compatible music files can also be accessed by the system.

Audio streaming without frontiers

Lossless audio presents a challenge to audio streaming because of the large volumes of data involved. In order to cope with bigger quantities of data within a limited broadband, many manufacturers of streaming products compromise the signal. In other words, the lossless files that you select from a service like TIDAL or your private music library is not what is played back. Raumfeld, however, respects the integrity of all music files and does not compress them for easier streaming. The Expand creates the wireless infrastructure needed for streaming the best quality audio without compromise.

Equipped with two adjustable antennas for incredibly reliable and fast transmission, the Expand is perfect for situations where a weak router, thick walls or the use of many streaming devices at once hinders the smooth streaming of larger files.
