Teufel subwoofers - In a league of their own

We have developed matching speaker systems for all our home cinema. The front, rear speakers and rear loudspeakers, along with a matching bass speaker produce a harmonious sound.

The correct subwoofer depends on the level of home cinema sound. From powerful explosions and menacing rumbles to orchestral soundscapes: well-designed and perfectly proportioned bass speakers from Teufel ensure film-ready sounds. How to set up a subwoofer properly
For most conventional home cinema setups, which usually consist of a soundbar, the subwoofer is responsible for the bass. An active subwoofer works the opposite to a satellite speaker, the subwoofer is not linked via loudspeaker cables but instead a cinch cable - or depending on the setup it can also be set up wirelessly. 


Subwoofer status - active
A passive subwoofer can only be found in old setups. Modern subwoofers like the Teufel those in the Teufel sets are active. As active subwoofers the bring their own, integrated amplifier and therefore are not reliant on the performance of the AV receivers. A good, dry bass can really help to take the sound experience to the next level. 

Individual woofer components - deluxe bass performance
For those who prefer to plan and compose their home cinema individually, we also offer powerful woofers for individually. The subwoofers from the T series are best suited for this, as they are not only easy to combine, but can also be used as front-fire or down-fire woofers.

Flat subwoofers - space all around
Flat subwoofers like the Teufel T 4000 offer the best living space integration. The flat design makes it possible to place them under a sofa or behind a sideboard. Despite its compact design, this subwoofer offers a full 250 watts of power. Three drivers are responsible for the bass, which we know and love from the popular and award-winning System 4 THX.

Big sound for a small price
It doesn’t matter if it’s an individual subwoofer to combine or subwoofers as part of a home cinema system - Teufel subwoofers always hit the perfect low frequency and thus provide the bass extra kick for film and music.
