Score: 5/5
"Teufel is taking a bold step with the Mynd: a Bluetooth speaker that sounds great and is also open source. That means: publicly available schematics, software, and the ability to replace your own battery. Add to that fun colors, easy controls, a user-friendly app, dust and water resistance, and a competitive price, and you have a no-brainer. You can enjoy this product for years to come, literally."
Rating: 8.5/10
"The Teufel MYND is not an ordinary Bluetooth speaker. It is a product with character, its own appearance and a clear vision of what consumer electronics can also be. The design draws attention, the Wild Berry colour makes it distinctive and the sound is maturely tuned for everyday use. But above all, the modular and more sustainable concept is what makes this speaker relevant.
Teufel shows here that a speaker can be designed not only more beautifully, but also more intelligently. Chapeau to the manufacturer..."
"...a banger of a speaker..."
"The Teufel MYND is a banger of a speaker. And that isn't only because of the great sound - it also has lots of great features. [...] All good things, but the greatest advantage is Teufel's approach to the topic of sustainability: the MYND's case can be opened so you can disassemble it, replace malfunctioning components, or even upgrade it with components from a 3D printer."(Translated from German)
"...offers balanced audio quality..."
"The sound of the Teufel Mynd is overall solid and offers balanced audio quality, which is impressive in the majority of day-to-day situations. [...] It is never overpowering, but blends into a harmonious sound image. The trebles are of particular note: they come through very clear, precise and clean, which makes for a pleasant listening experience, especially with acoustic tracks or vocal music."

Score: 9/10
There’s so much to love about the Teufel Mynd: it’s incredibly robust, it’s sustainable, it’s playful, it has that crate-style charm, and the sound is both satisfyingly loud – if you want it to be – and simply rich and great.
A powerful and durable speaker
“We have chosen to present this particular model to you because it really stands out from the crowd. It can be disassembled so that certain components can be replaced when they reach the end of their service life.”
Winner in the category Sound
The MYND won the prestigious Goldene Computer award thanks to votes from their German readership
"...an exceptional device at a reasonable price."
"The Teufel MYND scored points in the review with its rich sound, up to 40 hours of battery life (even 42 in eco mode), IP67 protection and clever repair features via freely accessible open source data. Connectivity is also impressive with Bluetooth 5.3, AUX and USB input."
